Starting in 2009, Megan Sell, a Sales Assistant, and Christian Read, a National Insurance Call Center Supervisor from our LKQ Triplett location in Akron, OH, began collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House of Akron, which are recycled in order to raise funds for their charitable efforts. After visiting for the first time and learning about how the organization allows parents to stay with their severely ill children while they receive treatment free of charge, Megan and Christian knew they had to get involved. In their first year, Megan and Christian collected 9,000 tabs and since then, have gathered over 25,000!
