To all of you who contribute to the LKQ Employee Assistance Fund:
The following story is both a tribute to the LKQ Employee Assistance Fund as well as to Jean-Pierre Perreault, the supervisor of the delivery department at LKQ Ste-Sophie (Canada). Jean-Pierre’s house burned to the ground. During the days following the fire, he was on the road to deliver parts to our customers since there were some delivery drivers absent that week. Jean-Pierre wanted to make sure that our customers received their parts. He could easily have been absent at this time as he had lost most of what he owned, but he felt the responsibility to LKQ, his colleagues, and our customers. Thank you, Jean-Pierre.
The LKQ Employee Assistance Fund is designed to provide short-term, emergency support to LKQ Corporation employees employed in North America who are facing serious financial hardship as a result of certain unforeseen and unpreventable circumstances.
