American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is a global cancer fighting organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support. Our research investments provide worldwide benefit, and we work collaboratively across the cancer continuum to decrease suffering and increase equitable, high-quality cancer care throughout the world. Within the United States, we provide patient support including evidence-based cancer information, a 24/7 cancer helpline, access to care through free lodging and transportation, one-on-one support and more.

American Red Cross provides assistance to people affected by disasters and other crises around the world. In addition, they also help build safer communities, supporting critical health initiatives such as eliminating measles, and educate future humanitarians through public outreach.

Changing and Saving Lives Foundation

Changing and Saving Lives Foundation, founded by National Auto Body Council® (NABC) provides support delivered through NABC Recycled Rides®, NABC First Responder Emergency Extrication (F.R.E.E™) and NABC® Community Impact programs. Since the programs were founded, the organization has presented more than 3,300 vehicles to families, veterans, and military members in need of transportation and provided life-saving education on vehicle rescue techniques to more than 6,000 first responders.

Council of Korean Americans

This is for all Asian American/Pacific Islander American scholars in the United States. The Council of Korean Americans (CKA) is a national nonprofit organization that advocates for the Korean American community in the United States. CKA works to amplify the voices of Korean Americans, promote civic engagement, strengthen their political influence, and address key issues such as social justice, immigration, and education. Through leadership development, public policy advocacy, and community organizing, CKA aims to create a more inclusive society for Korean Americans and other minority groups.

Doctors without Borders

Doctors Without Borders is an organization providing medical humanitarian assistance in more than 70 countries. MSF operates in crisis situations, including conflict zones, epidemics, and natural disasters. They use funds to provide emergency medical care, disease treatment, support services (provision of water, sanitation, and shelter in crisis situations), nutrition programs, field operations, advocacy, and administrative needs.

Collision Repair Education Foundation

The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) supports high school and post-secondary automotive collision repair programs, students, and instructors to help address the collision industry’s need for properly trained, entry-level staff. Donations to CREF help provide student scholarships, school grants, tools/equipment, and other resources to ensure students receive a quality technical education.

LKQ

Established in 2018, the LKQ Corporation Employee Assistance Fund is designed to provide short-term emergency support to LKQ Corporation employees in North America who are facing serious financial hardship due to certain unforeseen and unpreventable circumstances and who cannot afford housing, utilities, and other basic living expenses. Given the recent natural disasters that have impacted so many of our lives and communities, we have decided to designate the LKQ Employee Assistance Fund as one of the recipients of the 2024 LKQ Holiday Vote. Our employees are our greatest asset, and taking care of our own should always be a priority.

Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
