ARA’s Gold Seal Certification
The Automotive Recycling Association’s Gold Seal Certification is only given to professional members of the ARA who have completed the Certified Automotive Recycler’s Program. This includes meeting requirements in 27 different categories and following strict professional business practices, rules, and regulations. With the Gold Seal, LKQ commits to providing the highest level of service and quality recycled OE parts, while continuing to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
Vehicle Procurement for Recycled Parts
LKQ has access to the broadest range of late-model vehicles. Our procurement standards are the toughest in the industry, and we reject any vehicles that do not meet our exacting criteria.
Inspection and Identification Standards
We proactively use VIN matching to ensure the integrity of our recycled inventory, and we provide consistent and accurate product descriptions. As a result, our products are guaranteed to fit and perform as you need and expect.
Aftermarket Parts Procurement
All our manufacturing partners have the experience, capability, and integrity to build a part the right way. LKQ performs both internal testing and hires independent testing agencies to evaluate the quality of our parts. We do not procure parts that compromise safety.
Multiple Pre-Delivery Quality Checks
All parts are inspected multiple times. The first quality inspection happens before a part can be added to our inventories. After your order is placed, all recycled auto body parts – including sheet metal, doors, front ends, deck lids, hoods, etc. are cleaned and inspected one final time before being placed on the delivery truck.
